Spring is a time of beginnings and a liminal space, an in-between time. No longer the slumber of winter and not yet the fullness of summer.
In-between times are vulnerable by nature, there is a softness, a tentativeness to them since the future is being shaped into existence.
We have many such in-between times in our lives, and it's often in these times, when we are most in need of guidance, that our Intuition takes a different voice, perhaps a bit more vague, a bit more fuzzy than usual.
Have you had this experience?
It can be very frustrating, even frightening to have this precious ally become hard to reach in our time of need.
For those of us who have experienced rejection, abandonment, or betrayal it can awaken old wounds, making an already winding path seem longer and more challenging.
Your Intuition has not abandoned you, it is fighting for you.
Again, we need to bow to our past and honour the genuine pain we have experienced. For many of us, mixed messages were clues of deception and danger, silence was evidence of aloneness, and a lack of answers meant a lack of support.
That was real then, but today, your intuition hasn't deserted you. Even through its silences or vagueness, it is fighting for you.
Intuitive silence is not a sign of distance but of respect.
It is the pause we make naturally when we are inviting someone to participate in the conversation, we leave a gap so that they might offer their voice.
It is the pause we make when we feel we should say no more for the moment, we trust our friend is processing and we'll continue the conversation at a different time.
It is the pause that emerges when we are discussing such a complex topic that we turn inward and contemplate the situation.
In these in-between times, your intuition is making space for YOU
Remember Intuition is a messenger, it is the bond between you and your soul, you and your spiritual essence. It is facilitating the conversation between the two of you.
Travelling through an in-between time is like being pregnant. There are things we need to do (prenatal vitamins, sleep, be gentle on ourselves, do our checkups) but a BIG chunk of the time we are allowing things to happen. Until the in-between becomes the birth.
When we are in the process of becoming, the guidance needs to be gentle, it needs to be sparse because, otherwise, it would risk our actions coming from obedience and not from genuine commitment.
So our Intuition's voice softens.
In-between times, come with a lot of change, so detailed instructions become tricky, often guidance will continue to change as the environment changes as well. So our intuition becomes more in-the-moment and less specific about the future.
In-between times are times of magic and mystery. So our intuition mimics the moonlight that illuminates the night, rather than the sunlight that would dispel it.
I hope this reflection gives you guidance and comfort if you, like me, are in an in-between time right now.

Much love to you my friend,
