What Does This Have to Do With My Question? Navigating Confusing Card Pulls

It happens to all of us, as we focus on what worries we pull a card, our heart eases as we turn it, already anticipating the reassurance of guidance, only to feel the stump of confusion 'What does this have to do with what I asked? What do I do with it?'

What are your guides trying to communicate? As we learn to discern that, it is important to remember that "confusing" messages often are:

- Important Guidance that comes before its time: Just like wine needs time to ferment, some messages are confusing only because we are being given an early heads-up. These are messages we are asked to integrate. Over the years I have learned to recognize them and activate them.

- A need-to-know basis situation: For many reasons sometimes the message comes to us in pieces. Much like a puzzle there is an art to know how to interpret a partial message and how to begin to take steps to align ourselves with it, so we can be ready when the next part of the message arrives.

- A time to heal: Sometimes, getting clear next steps can actually make it difficult to stay in our path. Like having a cake in the fridge and constantly remind ourselves we are not to touch it, it can be hard to resist moving on to the next step before the one we are in has been fully completed. We might feel tempted to move quicker, or we may honestly thing we are done with the inner work and step forward before we are truly ready. A partial or fuzzy message can prevent this.

But how do you discern this? how do you know if the fuzzy message is because of the above or something else, like maybe we didn't realize the question we asked had a hidden meaning? After all, learning to craft powerful questions is half of the equation of card readings.
